A moment of recognition!

I received a call that Ruth, the young lady whose Senior Portraits I did, had made it into the Iowa Junior Miss Pageant. Way to go, Ruth!!!!

The Pageant leaders contacted me and asked that I submit a "head and shoulders" portrait which will be enlarged and displayed with my name listed as the photographer. Woo-hoo. I was told, at the time of the call, that I could use this picture as advertising for my business. I'm pretty new to this line of work, so I'm not sure how much weight it will carry....but still sounds pretty cool.

The above image is the photo I submitted, which I felt best fit their requirements. However, the photo below is my all time favorite from her shoot.
